InStep 3.0 is a companion product that exploits Pirouette 4.0 models. InStep uses a Watched folder approach to sample selection: whenever a data file of appropriate type is delivered to the watched folder, InStep immediately processes the sample and generates a report. 
Methods and Reports are developed through an intuitive form-based interface. Hierarchical prediction strategies are possible, and functioning example methods included with the package demonstrate method concepts. Reports can be configured to include only the predicted values or a suite of prediction diagnostics and can be written to individual files or accumulated in one master file. InStep can also be called on demand through the command line.
